Specifications for the U108 PRE power supply

U108 PRE requires a power supply for the operation. This power supply is included by default, yet can be replaced with a standard power supply (which is not recommended by us).

The power supply needs to be regulated and provide 12V DC with at least 3A. The outside (sleeve) of the connector is -, while the inside (tip) is +. The connector diameter is 5.5mm (= 2.2in).

Such a power supply is a standard part that can be purchased via most music or electronic retailers and mail order companies. If you are unsure, print out this page and show it at your local shop or contact the local ESI distributor in your country.
